The plaintiff’s decedent lost her life as the result of injuries received in an automobile accident which occurred in the main street of Darien, which at the point of the accident is a concrete highway forty-five feet in width consisting of four panels, each nine feet wide, and four and one half foot shoulders of the same material, on each side.
