Appeal from a judgment of the district court and the order denying defendant’s motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict or in the alternative for a new trial.
The trial of this action before a jury was instituted by plaintiff Bridges, a sales employee of Porter Electric Company, against defendant Hillman, the owner and lessor of a building in Minneapolis occupied by Porter Electric Company as lessee, to recover for injuries sustained by plaintiff in falling into the elevator shaft located in the building.
