The Commonwealth appeals from the judgment of sentence entered in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, following the conviction of Darryl Brown on charges of aggravated assault1 and possession of an instrument of crime.2 Herein, the Commonwealth questions, “Did *371double jeopardy principles prohibiting multiple punishment for the same offense prevent the lower court from applying the deadly weapon enhancement provision of the sentencing guidelines to defendant’s aggravated assault conviction?” The Commonwealth also questions, “Did the lower court erroneously apply…
