On or about September 21, 1922, at the city of New York the York Mercantile Company, Inc., and the Inter-Ocean Food Products Company, Inc., both domestic corporations, entered into a contract on a form known in the trade as the California Dried Fruit Contract, Rail Shipment, whereby the York Mercantile Company, Inc., contracted to purchase, and the Inter-Ocean Food Products Company, Xne., to sell and deliver during the months of October and November, 1922, 2,400 twenty-five pound boxes of Thompson’s Recleaned Raisins, 1922 crop, at nine and one-quarter cents per pound, f. o. b.…
