The petitioner, Pablo Andrades, appeals from the judgment of the habeas court dismissing his second amended petition for a writ of habeas corpus. On appeal, the petitioner claims that the court improperly rejected his claims that his trial counsel had rendered ineffective assistance by failing (1) to file an application for sentence review properly, (2) to obtain a Spanish language interpreter at trial and (3) to ensure that the petitioner was competent throughout the trial.
