The defendant, Johnny Ortiz, appeals from the judgments of conviction, following a jury trial, of felony murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54c, manslaughter in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-55 (a) (3), burglary in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-101 (a) (2), kidnapping in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-94, and larceny in the third degree in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-124 (a) (1) and 53a-8.
