The defendants, Adam John and Erich Seebeck, were charged by informations with having committed the crimes of murder, in violation of General Statutes § SSaSAa,1 felony murder, in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54c,2 and larceny in the second degree, in violation of General Statutes § 53a-123 (a) (l),3 in connection with the June, 1980 death of Ponte Patterson. After a joint jury trial, the defendant John was acquitted on the intentional murder count but was convicted of felony murder and of larceny in the second degree.
