In this patent infringement lawsuit, plaintiff Semiconductor Energy Laboratory Company, Ltd. contends that certain liquid crystal display products made by defendants Samsung Electronics Company, Ltd., S-LCD Corporation, Samsung Electronics America, Inc. and Samsung Telecommunications America, LLC infringe four of plaintiffs patents relating to thin-film transistors: United States Patent Nos. 6,900,463 (the '463 patent), 7,215,402 (the '402 patent), 7,394,516 (the '516 patent) and 7,413,937 (the '937 patent).
