Glenn E. Kierstead, Joyce Anna Hayward and Richard Men-dell appeal from a judgment in favor of plaintiffs California Recreation Industries, Hal Mooz and Ron Dumas, awarding damages and attorney’s fees in an action for breach of contract. Plaintiffs cross-appealed, contend ing that the award of attorney’s fees was inadequate. Both parties, however, have abandoned any claim of error regarding the amount of fees awarded. The only remaining issue on appeal is whether the attorney’s fees award must be reversed because plaintiffs sought attorney’s fees, pursuant to Civil Code…
