Plaintiffs 1 appeal the trial court’s orders granting summary disposition to defendants on the plaintiffs’ legal malpractice claims. We affirm.

In June 1995, plaintiffs retained defendants 2 to investigate and pursue a medical malpractice action against several medical providers. The malpractice claim arose in part out of plaintiff Cara Mitchell’s February 1995 admission to Oakwood Hospital (Oak-wood). 3 Cara Mitchell was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a treatable form of cancer, for which her doctor prescribed the chemotherapy drug vinblastine sulfate.
