Defendant-appellant Republic of Palau appeals from a final judgment of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Sweet, J.) entered on November 1, 1991. The final judgment followed entry by the district court of a judgment on July 31, 1991, remanding this case to the Supreme Court of the State of New York, New York County, for proceedings on the merits.
