Hudspeth sued Clardy to recover the sum of $35 damages' caused by breaking a plate glass window in the post office, in the town of Nashville, Arkansas. He alleged that “he was the owner of a certain brick building in the town of Nashville, Arkansas, situated on the corner of Main and Clark streets on lot 24, block 25, which is known as the post office building.
