WOLLMAN, Justice.

Defendant appeals from the judgment of the circuit court affirming the law-trained magistrate’s decision that imposed liability upon defendant under SDCL 32-22-55. We affirm.

On October 18, 1983, defendant was transporting a semi-trailer load of soybeans when he was stopped by a South Dakota Highway Patrol trooper and asked to drive his truck to a nearby scale site.
