These actions were for damages caused by a collision of the plaintiff’s automobile with the defendant’s freight train at a public crossing, and although separate actions, they were by agreement tried together in the court below, and will be decided in one opinion. For convenience the parties will be designated plaintiff and defendant as in the court below.
