CVA, Inc. and its insurer, the State Workers’ Insurance Fund (collectively, Employer), petition for review of an adjudication of the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board (Board) granting the penalty petition filed by Charles Riley (Claimant). In doing so, the Board affirmed the Workers’ Compensation Judge’s (WCJ) determination that Employer violated the Workers’ Compensation Act 1 (Act) by unilaterally refusing to pay Claimant’s medical bills. Finding no error, we affirm.
