Defendant-Appellant Anthony M. Hicks (Defendant) appeals from the judgment and sentence entered in the Family Court of the First Circuit on September 20,1989. Defendant was found guilty of criminal contempt of court, Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) § 7KN1077 (1985), for violating a restraining order.
