This is a motion brought by the People of the State of New York by Attorney-General Robert Abrams and by the Superintendent of Insurance of New York State pursuant to Executive Law § 63 (2), Insurance Law § 327 and General Business Law § 349. It seeks to preliminarily enjoin respondents from conducting an insurance business within New York without a license, from acting as insurance brokers and from engaging in fraudulent and deceptive practices.
