This is an appeal by defendants, doing business as Moore and Roberts, from a judgment of $1,964 entered against them following a jury verdict in favor of plaintiff in that amount.
Appellants, as general contractors, entered into a subcontract with respondent whereunder respondent was to do the plastering work on a theater building being constructed at Menlo Park.
Appellants had also become the general contractors for the construction of the mess hall at the Veterans’ Home at Yountville. Respondent was the low bidder on the plastering work on this job, and on January 3, 1946,…
