A White auto-truck, owned by Walkup Drayage & Warehouse Company and then being operated by its employee, Harold Rumsey, easterly on Broadway, in the city and county of San Francisco, struck the right side of a Chevrolet sedan automobile, then being driven southerly on Sansome Street by its owner, Charles F. Groat. In an action, brought by the latter against the former, to recover damages for injuries suffered as a result of the collision, the jury awarded the latter the sum of $12,500.
