Appellant Robert Lee Owens appeals from his conviction for aggravated robbery, bat tery in the first degree, and misdemeanor theft of property. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for the aggravated robbery conviction and forty years on the battery conviction, with the sentences to be served consecutively, and one year in jail on the misdemeanor theft conviction, to be served concurrently.
