OPINION AND ORDER

GIERBOLINI, Chief Judge.

Plaintiff is seeking review of the Secretary of Health and Human Services’s decision denying his application for disability benefits under the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. § 405(g). The Administrative Law Judge (hereafter AU) held a hearing, and thereafter affirmed the Social Security Administration’s denial of plaintiff's claim. The Appeals Council denied plaintiff’s request for review of the AU decision, mak ing the AU’s decision the final decision of the Secretary.
