This is an original proceeding in mandamus to compel the state auditor to register certain bonds presented to him by the board of education of the city of El Dorado, a city of the second class.

The board of education adopted a resolution containing a statement that the crowded condition of the high school and junior college makes it necessary that a new building be built, and that in order to erect such new building it is necessary to vote bonds, and that the estimated cost of the building is $360,762, and of furnishing it $30,738, or a total…
