During the damages phase of the trial of this matter, defendants Lyor Cohen (“Cohen”) and The Island Def Jam Music Group (“IDJ” and, collectively with Cohen, the “Defendants”) moved this Court for an order pursuant to Rule 50(a) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure for judgment as a matter of law.
