JOHNSON, Judge.

This is an action to quiet title to land located in Mountrail County, North Dakota. The action covers 320 acres. Only the title to 160 acres, however, is in dispute, to wit: The South Half of the Northeast Quarter (S½NE¼) and the North Half of the Southeast Quarter (N%SEJ4) of Section 14-154-93. The plaintiff claims to be the owner thereof. The defendants, Naomi Stenzel, Oralie Lorenz, Helen Jackson, Howard Hudson, and Myrtle Hudson, also claim to be the owners thereof and assert their title thereto.
