Proceeding pursuant to CPLR article 78 (transferred to this Court by order of the Supreme Court, entered in Albany County) to review a determination of respondent which, among other things, found petitioner guilty of misconduct and reassigned her to a lower rank.

Petitioner, a zone sergeant with the State Police, was served with a notice of discipline charging her with three violations of State Police regulations as the result of an incident on August 12, 2006 involving her off-duty pursuit of another vehicle for reckless driving.
