Introduction
Plaintiff, John C. MacMurray, in this military benefits pay case, initially brought suit, in 1984, in the Chancery Court of the *324Second Judicial District of Harrison County, Mississippi. There he sought a declaration that his missing sister, Marguerite M. Mayden, was still living.
