OPINION

McCLOUD, Chief Justice.

Terry and Julie Bennie, Dr. J.L. Morris, and Diamond Mineral Investments, Inc. sued the City of Brady for tortious interference with a gas purchase contract and for slander of title. Based upon the jury’s answers to special issues, judgment was entered for the plaintiffs. We affirm.

Dr. J.L. Morris owned three tracts of land in Brown County which covered a part of a gas storage reservoir located in the Caddo Formation in the Janellen Field. In 1962, Morris entered into a 10-year gas storage lease covering these three tracts. The gas storage lease contained two…
