INTRODUCTION

11 Larry Lewis Hutchings was convicted of aggravated assault and eriminal mischief. Hutchings appealed his convictions and submitted a hybrid Anders /merits brief. Upon review of Hutchings's pro se filings and his counsel's Anders brief, the court of appeals identified only one meritorious issue: the claim that the jury instructions misstated the law regarding aggravated assault.
