The plaintiff is a physician and surgeon, specializing in the private and hospital practice of obstetrics and gynecology. He brings this action to recover the sum of $10,677.34 under a policy of health and accident insurance issued to him by the defendant company in 1964. The policy entitled plaintiff to receive $770 per month for 24 months during any period when he was totally disabled.
