The Bardach Iron and Steel Company, Incorporated,, is a corporation having its principal office and place-of business in Norfolk. At the time of the transactions, in question in this case, it was engaged in the metal brokerage business and the handling of iron and steel' products, principally iron and steel scrap. In the-month of June, 1922, the company purchased at Jacksonville, Florida, and Charleston, South Carolina, a large quantity of iron and steel scrap at each place.
