BOWMAN, J.,

— Was there sufficient competent evidence in this case to support a jury verdict which found defendant’s decedent to have been negligent in causing a fire which damaged plaintiff’s property? This is the issue raised by defendant’s motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict.

The essence of defendant’s contention is that even if one views the evidence most favorable to the verdict winner and accepts all reasonable inferences to *381be taken therefrom, plaintiff has failed to make out a case of negligence on the part of defendant’s decedent, a burden which must be met by plaintiff to…
