MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

This matter is presently before the Court on a motion by plaintiff Vito Vitone (“Vi-tone”) to reconsider the Court’s Memorandum and Order dated October 17, 1996, published as Vitone v. Metropolitan Life Ins. Co., 943 F.Supp. 192 (D.R.I.1996). In that decision, the Court granted a motion by defendant Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (“Metlife”) to compel arbitration of this dispute pursuant to the written agreement of the parties.
