This is a putative class action brought pursuant to the Federal Wiretap Act (“Wiretap Act”), 18 U.S.C. §§ 2510-2522, and the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (“ECPA”), 18 U.S.C. § 2701-2719, by plaintiff Daragh Crowley (“Crowley”) against defendants CyberSource Corporation (“CyberSource”) and Amazon.com, Inc. (“Amazon”). Crowley alleges that he went to Amazon’s web site to purchase goods, and gave Amazon his name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit card number and expiration date, and telephone number.
