This matter is before the court on plaintiffs motion for entry of judgment. Based upon a review of the file, record and proceedings herein, 1 and for the following reasons, the court grants plaintiffs motion.

BACKGROUND

This prejudgment interest dispute arises out of defendant The Medical Protective Company of Fort Wayne, Indiana’s (“Medical Protective”) breach of an insurance policy that it issued to plaintiff Owatonna Clinic-Mayo Health System (“Owatonna Clinic”).
