MEMORANDUM OF DECISION
BILL PARKER, Chief Judge.
This matter is before the Court upon the Motion to Determine Characterization of Leases filed by Ecco Drilling Company, Ltd., the debtor in the above-referenced chapter 11 bankruptcy case. Ecco seeks a determination that its agreements executed in 2006 with Bernard National Loan Investors, Ltd. are not finance leases as they purport to be, but are rather disguised secured transactions.
