The plaintiff received a verdict and judgment in the circuit court for the county of Gogebic, Michigan, against the defendant, in the sum of $15,254.32, on account of personal injuries received while riding as a passenger for hire in a bus owned and operated by the defendant. The defendant is a municipal corporation, and, at the time of the accident, was operating a bus between the city and the Plymouth mine, where the plaintiff was employed as a foreman of the drill and blast gang.
