Plaintiffs-appellants Cornelius Young, Sr. (“Cornelius”) and his stepdaughter Gwendolyn Brown (“Brown”) (collectively “appellants”) appeal from the adverse rulings below. Appellants challenge the trial court’s denial of appellants’ untimely motion for substitution of a third plaintiff, now deceased, Young’s wife, Louise Young (“decedent”). Appellants also challenge the trial court’s grant of a partial motion for summary judgment by defendants-appellees, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Inc.
