MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

THEIS, District Judge.

This is a product liability action brought against the manufacturer of a football helmet. 1 The case was tried to a jury commencing September 27, 1994. The jury found in favor of the plaintiffs, and judgment was entered according to the verdict. This matter is before the court on motions for judgment as a matter of law or, in the alternative, for a new trial filed by defendant (Doc. 148) and plaintiffs (Doc. 159).
