The accused was convicted by general court-martial for absence without leave, a violation of Article 86, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 886; larceny of $10.00, in violation of Article 121, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 921; and forgery by alteration of a United States Money Order Purchaser’s Receipt, a violation of Article 123, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 923.
