FeRguson, Judge:

Arraigned and tried before a general court-martial convened at Marine Corps Supply Center, Barstow, California, by its Commanding General, the accused was found guilty of falsely making, with intent to defraud, four checks, in violation of Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 123, 10 USC § 923. He was sentenced to bad-conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for two years, and reduction to the grade of E-l. The convening authority reduced the findings of guilty of one count to attempted forgery; approved those relating to the other three counts;…
