TROUT, Justice.

Appellant, Jonathan Purvis (Purvis), appeals the district court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of respondents, Progressive Casualty Company and Rossi Insurance Company (collectively referred to as Progressive). This is an insurance contract dispute in which Purvis claims Progressive had a duty to defend or indemnify Purvis in connection with an underlying personal injury suit.
