The issue in this case, which involves a civil complaint by appellant New Economy Capital, LLC (“NEC”) against appellees New Markets Capital Group (“NMCG”), Milicent Hodge, and Alan D. Wheat, is whether the trial court properly granted summary judgment in favor of appellees. *1089NEC contends that the trial court’s order granting summary judgment was improper, mainly because there are genuine issues of material fact.
