John C. Jordan, husband of plaintiff, was killed'on September 28, 1960, while attempting *241to repair a crane owned by C. A. Roberts Company. In proceedings before the workmen’s compensation department in February, 1961, Thelma Jordan represented that she was the widow and sole dependent of John C. Jordan, deceased, and she and C. A. Roberts Company represented that “John C. Jordan was an employee of C. A.
