Contrary to his pleas, appellant was found not guilty by a military judge sitting alone of malingering but guilty of wounding himself without intent to avoid hazardous service, in violation of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 934. The convening authority approved the sentence of a dishonorable discharge, 354 days’ confinement, total forfeitures, and reduction to the lowest enlisted grade.
