MEMORANDUM OPINION

The plaintiff debtor, Gertrude Lohr, filed this adversary proceeding against defendants Sallie Mae and Sherman B. Lub-man, Chapter 7 Trustee, seeking to discharge her student loans. Education Credit Management Corporation (ECMC) was substituted as a defendant in place of Sallie Mae due to transfer of interest in the underlying loans. Defendant Sherman B. Lubman, Chapter 7 Trustee, was dismissed as a defendant because there were no assets in the estate. At trial held February 23, 2000, to determine dischargeability of these debts, the court…
