Ferguson, Judge:

Arraigned and tried before a general court-martial convened at Fort Ord, California, upon two charges of absence without leave, in violation of Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 86, 10 USC § 886, and a single count of desertion, in violation of Code, supra, Article 85, 10 USC § 885, the accused pleaded guilty to one specification of unauthorized absence, not guilty to the other, and guilty only of absence without leave for the period involved in the desertion count.
