The Ponieren1' Brothers Company was a corporation of this state, engaged in the manufacture and sale of inks, mucilage and sealing wax, and from about 1896 until the companj'' was decreed to be insolvent, in March, 1908, Eltwood Pomeroy was its president and the general manager in charge of its business. As such he supervised and had charge during these years of the experiments for manufacture — the preparation of its formulas for the composition of its products and the custody of its formulas and formula notes.
