This is a class action brought by Negro children through their parents and next friends complaining of alleged racial imbalance in Cincinnati public schools.
After repeated informal and pretrial conferences between the Court and counsel, numerous hearings on preliminary motions (including one for summary judgment), and unusually exhaustive discovery procedures, this cause came on for trial.
