BERYL A. HOWELL, District Judge.
Five exotic dancers brought this action against the owners and operators of “The House,” “an exotic gentlemen’s club in Washington, D.C. featuring nude female dancers.” Mem. in Supp. of Pis.’ Mot. for Partial Summ. J. (“Pis.’ Mem.”) at 1. The House classified its dancers as independent contractors, rather than employees, and, accordingly, did not pay them minimum wage.
