The plaintiff commenced this suit for divorce in the Circuit Court of Clackamas County. The cause for which the plaintiff asks a divorce is alleged cruel and inhuman treatment. The plaintiff and the defendant intermarried in Illinois on October 31,1903. The complaint alleges that the plaintiff and the defendant are residents and inhabitants of the State of Oregon, and that they had been such residents and inhabitants for more than a year immediately prior to the commencement of this suit.
